  1. Develop and maintain CMM programs using PC-DMIS software to accurately measure and inspect automotive parts and components.
  2. Utilize knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading to interpret part drawings and ensure accurate measurements.
  3. Conduct thorough inspections of parts and components using CMM equipment, identifying any potential issues or deviations from specifications.
  4. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve any measurement or programming issues.
  5. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all CMM programming and inspection processes.
  6. Continuously monitor and improve CMM programming and inspection techniques to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  7. Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards during CMM programming and inspection processes.
  8. Train and mentor other team members on CMM programming and PC-DMIS software as needed.
  9. Keep detailed records of all CMM programs and inspection results for future reference.
  10. Stay updated on industry advancements and new technologies related to CMM programming and PC-DMIS software.
  11. Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure the accuracy and quality of incoming parts and components.
  12. Communicate effectively with management and other team members to provide updates on CMM programming and inspection activities.

  • Proficiency In Pc-Dmis Software: As A Cmm Programmer At Honda, It Is Essential To Have A Strong Understanding And Experience In Using Pc-Dmis Software To Program, Operate, And Troubleshoot Coordinate Measuring Machines (Cmms).

  • Knowledge Of Gd&T And Blueprint Reading: A Thorough Understanding Of Geometric Dimensioning And Tolerancing (Gd&T) And The Ability To Interpret And Analyze Engineering Drawings Is Crucial For Accurately Programming Cmms At Honda.
