- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential vendors to ensure the highest quality of products and services for our customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and onboard new vendors that align with Hologic's values and standards.
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure competitive and cost-effective solutions.
- Conduct regular vendor performance evaluations and implement improvement plans as needed.
- Monitor and track vendor performance metrics, such as delivery times, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
- Proactively identify and resolve any issues or disputes with vendors, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in vendor management to continuously improve processes and strategies.
- Manage vendor relationships throughout the entire supply chain, from sourcing and procurement to delivery and post-sales support.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their vendor needs and preferences, and provide guidance and support in selecting the best vendors for their requirements.
- Develop and maintain a vendor database, including contract details, performance metrics, and other relevant information.
- Train and mentor team members on vendor management processes and best practices.
- Continuously review and optimize vendor management processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Marketing, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Vendor Management Or Procurement
Strong Negotiation Skills And Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Vendors
Knowledge Of Supply Chain Management And Vendor Performance Metrics
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.
