- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Lead and manage a team of quality assurance professionals to conduct technical investigations and root cause analysis of product quality and safety issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Monitor and track quality metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop corrective actions.
- Conduct audits of manufacturing processes, suppliers, and vendors to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices in quality assurance, and make recommendations for incorporating them into company processes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to other departments, including R&D and manufacturing, on quality-related matters.
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure all employees are knowledgeable about quality standards and procedures.
- Participate in the development and review of product specifications, design controls, and risk management activities.
- Communicate quality-related issues and updates to senior management, as well as make recommendations for improvements and corrective actions.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence within the company.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on quality assurance during internal and external audits and inspections.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of quality metrics and findings to senior management.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the quality management system and make recommendations for improvements.
Extensive Experience In Quality Assurance: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Quality Assurance, With A Proven Track Record Of Managing Technical Investigations And Ensuring Compliance With Regulatory Standards.
Strong Leadership Skills: As A Senior Manager, This Role Requires Someone Who Can Lead And Motivate A Team Of Quality Assurance Professionals. The Candidate Should Have Exceptional Communication And Interpersonal Skills, And The Ability To Make Tough Decisions And Guide Their Team Towards Achieving Goals.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Regulatory Standards: Hologic Is A Medical Device Company, And The Sr. Manager Of Quality Assurance - Technical Investigation Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Fda Regulations And Other International Quality Standards Related To Medical Devices.
Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: This Role Involves Investigating And Resolving Complex Technical Issues, So The Ideal Candidate Should Have Excellent Analytical Skills And The Ability To Think Critically And Strategically.
