- Conduct quality control inspections on incoming materials, in-process products, and finished medical devices to ensure they meet established quality standards.
- Identify and document any defects or non-conformities found during inspections.
- Work closely with the quality control team to investigate and resolve any quality issues.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all inspections and test results.
- Communicate any quality concerns or issues to the appropriate departments and management.
- Follow established procedures and protocols for quality control testing and inspections.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new quality control processes and procedures.
- Participate in quality control audits and assist with corrective actions as needed.
- Keep up-to-date with industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as manufacturing and engineering, to improve product quality and processes.
- Train and mentor new quality control inspectors as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing job duties.
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and make recommendations to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality and contribute to the overall mission of the company to enhance patient care.
Knowledge Of Quality Control Procedures: A Quality Control Inspector At Hologic Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Quality Control Procedures And Standards, Including Iso 13485 And Fda Regulations.
Experience In Medical Device Industry: Hologic Is A Leading Manufacturer Of Medical Devices, So Experience Working In The Medical Device Industry Is A Highly Desirable Qualification For This Role.
Attention To Detail: Quality Control Inspectors Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Identify Even The Smallest Defects Or Deviations From Established Standards.
Strong Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial In A Quality Control Inspector Role At Hologic. Inspectors Must Be Able To Clearly Communicate Any Issues Or Concerns With The Production Team And Provide Detailed Reports To Management.
