  1. Provide technical support and assistance to employees for hardware, software, and system issues.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems promptly and efficiently.
  3. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals.
  4. Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  5. Document and maintain records of reported issues and their resolutions.
  6. Train and educate employees on proper use of technology and systems.
  7. Ensure the smooth operation of all systems and software by performing regular maintenance and updates.
  8. Monitor and respond to helpdesk tickets and emails in a timely manner.
  9. Continuously improve and update technical knowledge and skills to stay current with advancements in technology.
  10. Communicate effectively with employees to understand their technical needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  11. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding information security and confidentiality.
  12. Collaborate with external vendors and service providers as needed.
  13. Participate in team meetings and provide regular updates on ongoing projects and issues.
  14. Proactively identify and resolve potential technical problems before they impact operations.
  15. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.

  • Technical Knowledge And Experience: A Helpdesk Support Technician At Hologic Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Various Hardware And Software Systems, As Well As Experience Troubleshooting Technical Issues.

  • Customer Service Skills: This Role Requires Excellent Customer Service Skills, As Helpdesk Support Technicians Will Be Interacting With Users On A Daily Basis And Must Be Able To Provide Helpful And Friendly Support.

  • Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Essential For A Helpdesk Support Technician, As They Will Need To Communicate Technical Information To Non-Technical Users In A Clear And Understandable Manner.

  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Helpdesk Support Technicians Must Possess Strong Problem-Solving Skills To Quickly Identify And Resolve Technical Issues For Users. They Should Also Be Able To Think Creatively And Find Solutions To Unique Problems.

  • Time Management And Organizational Skills: In A Fast-Paced Helpdesk Environment, It Is Important For Helpdesk Support Technicians To Be Able To Manage Their Time Efficiently And Prioritize Tasks Effectively. Strong Organizational Skills Are Also Necessary To Keep Track Of Multiple User Requests And Ensure Timely Resolution.
