Job Description

Welcome to Holiday Inn Hotels, where we strive to provide exceptional service to our guests. We are currently seeking a friendly and efficient Telephone Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for answering and directing incoming calls, as well as assisting guests with their inquiries and requests. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.   1. Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual.
  2. Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner over the phone.
  3. Provide accurate and timely information to guests regarding hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
  4. Assist guests with reservations and inquiries related to their stay at the hotel.
  5. Handle guest complaints and resolve them in a timely and efficient manner.
  6. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, ensuring a positive guest experience.
  7. Keep track of all incoming and outgoing calls and maintain accurate records.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  9. Follow standard operating procedures for handling emergency calls.
  10. Monitor and respond to voicemails and emails in a timely manner.
  11. Keep abreast of hotel policies, promotions, and events in order to provide accurate information to guests.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  13. Complete any other tasks or duties assigned by the management.

  • Multitasking Abilities: A Telephone Operator At Holiday Inn Hotels Should Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously. They Should Be Able To Answer Phone Calls, Take Messages, Forward Calls, And Assist Guests With Various Requests, All While Maintaining A Friendly And Professional Demeanor.

  • Attention To Detail: Attention To Detail Is Crucial For A Telephone Operator, As They Are Responsible For Accurately Recording And Relaying Messages To Guests And Staff Members. They Should Also Have Good Organizational Skills To Keep Track Of Multiple Incoming Calls And Messages.
