As the Security Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, and property. This position requires a strong leader who is able to effectively manage security operations and implement strategies to minimize risk and maintain a safe environment. Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of the hotel's guests, employees, and property.
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the security team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify and address potential vulnerabilities or threats.
Collaborate with other department managers to ensure a unified approach to security and risk management.
Monitor and respond to all security incidents and emergencies, and ensure appropriate protocols are followed.
Maintain a strong working relationship with local law enforcement and emergency services.
Stay up-to-date on the latest security technology and trends, and make recommendations for improvements or updates to the hotel's security systems.
Investigate any security breaches or incidents and report findings to upper management.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to security incidents and training.
Provide regular training and guidance to hotel staff on security procedures and protocols.
Conduct thorough background checks and screenings for all potential employees in accordance with company policies.
Act as a liaison between the hotel and outside security agencies or consultants.
Create and maintain emergency response plans and procedures for the hotel.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and security regulations and laws.
Handle any other security-related duties as assigned by upper management.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree In Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Knowledge Of Local, State, And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Security And Safety.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Security Management, Preferably In The Hospitality Industry.
Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Manage A Team.
Certification In Security Management Or Related Field, Such As Certified Hotel Security Manager (Chsm) Or Certified Lodging Security Director (Clsd).
