
Security Manager

- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of the hotel's guests, employees, and property.
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the security team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify and address potential vulnerabilities or threats.
- Collaborate with other department managers to ensure a unified approach to security and risk management.
- Monitor and respond to all security incidents and emergencies, and ensure appropriate protocols are followed.
- Maintain a strong working relationship with local law enforcement and emergency services.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security technology and trends, and make recommendations for improvements or updates to the hotel's security systems.
- Investigate any security breaches or incidents and report findings to upper management.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to security incidents and training.
- Provide regular training and guidance to hotel staff on security procedures and protocols.
- Conduct thorough background checks and screenings for all potential employees in accordance with company policies.
- Act as a liaison between the hotel and outside security agencies or consultants.
- Create and maintain emergency response plans and procedures for the hotel.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and security regulations and laws.
- Handle any other security-related duties as assigned by upper management.
Bachelor's Degree In Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Knowledge Of Local, State, And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Security And Safety.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Security Management, Preferably In The Hospitality Industry.
Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Manage A Team.
Certification In Security Management Or Related Field, Such As Certified Hotel Security Manager (Chsm) Or Certified Lodging Security Director (Clsd).
