Job Description

Welcome to Holiday Inn Hotels! We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving sales and revenue for our hotel by providing exceptional support to our sales team. As a Sales Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and interact with various departments, while utilizing your strong organizational and communication skills.   1. Assist in the development and execution of sales strategies to drive revenue for the hotel.
  2. Coordinate and manage sales inquiries and leads, ensuring prompt and accurate follow-up.
  3. Collaborate with the sales team to create and distribute sales materials, including proposals and contracts.
  4. Conduct market research to identify potential clients and new business opportunities.
  5. Maintain relationships with existing clients and develop new relationships to increase sales.
  6. Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  7. Coordinate and attend sales meetings, taking detailed notes and providing necessary follow-up.
  8. Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date sales reports and databases.
  9. Assist in the preparation and execution of sales events, such as trade shows and client events.
  10. Work closely with other departments within the hotel to ensure seamless communication and coordination for sales initiatives.
  11. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
  12. Train and mentor new sales team members, as needed.
  13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to sales and revenue.
  14. Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales targets and goals.
  15. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional activities and campaigns.
  16. Attend networking events and conferences to promote the hotel and generate leads.
  17. Maintain a high level of knowledge about the hotel's products, services, and amenities.
  18. Display a positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times, representing the hotel in a positive light.
  19. Other duties as assigned by the sales manager or hotel management.
