- Monitor and analyze booking trends and adjust reservation strategies as needed to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the hotel's room types, rates, and policies to accurately assist guests with their reservations.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and housekeeping, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of guest reservations.
- Resolve any guest issues or concerns related to reservations in a prompt and professional manner.
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date reservation records and reports.
- Implement and enforce reservation and cancellation policies to protect the hotel's revenue.
- Continuously seek out ways to improve the reservation process and enhance the guest experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competition to make informed decisions and remain competitive in the market.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing team to develop and implement strategies to increase bookings and revenue.
- Adhere to all company and brand standards, policies, and procedures at all times.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to reservations staff.
- Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and superiors to ensure a positive and professional work environment.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the hotel management.
Experience In Hotel Operations: A Reservations Manager At Holiday Inn Hotels Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Hotel Operations, Including Front Desk Procedures, Room Inventory Management, And Revenue Management.
Strong Communication Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Guests, Team Members, And Other Departments Is Essential For A Reservations Manager. This Includes Both Written And Verbal Communication Skills.
Proficiency In Reservation Systems: Holiday Inn Hotels Uses A Variety Of Reservation Systems, So A Candidate Should Have Experience And Proficiency In Using These Systems To Make And Manage Reservations.
