Job Description

As the Reservations Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests' reservations are handled efficiently and with the utmost care.   1. Oversee the daily operations of the reservations department and ensure all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  2. Train and supervise reservations staff to ensure a high level of customer service is provided to guests.
  3. Monitor and analyze booking trends and adjust reservation strategies as needed to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  4. Maintain a thorough understanding of the hotel's room types, rates, and policies to accurately assist guests with their reservations.
  5. Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and housekeeping, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of guest reservations.
  6. Resolve any guest issues or concerns related to reservations in a prompt and professional manner.
  7. Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date reservation records and reports.
  8. Implement and enforce reservation and cancellation policies to protect the hotel's revenue.
  9. Continuously seek out ways to improve the reservation process and enhance the guest experience.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and competition to make informed decisions and remain competitive in the market.
  11. Work closely with the sales and marketing team to develop and implement strategies to increase bookings and revenue.
  12. Adhere to all company and brand standards, policies, and procedures at all times.
  13. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to reservations staff.
  14. Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and superiors to ensure a positive and professional work environment.
  15. Perform any other duties as assigned by the hotel management.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Hotel Operations: A Reservations Manager At Holiday Inn Hotels Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Hotel Operations, Including Front Desk Procedures, Room Inventory Management, And Revenue Management.

  • Strong Communication Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Guests, Team Members, And Other Departments Is Essential For A Reservations Manager. This Includes Both Written And Verbal Communication Skills.

  • Proficiency In Reservation Systems: Holiday Inn Hotels Uses A Variety Of Reservation Systems, So A Candidate Should Have Experience And Proficiency In Using These Systems To Make And Manage Reservations.

  • Leadership Experience: As A Manager, The Candidate Should Have Experience Leading And Managing A Team, Setting Goals, And Providing Guidance And Support To Ensure The Team's Success.

  • Attention To Detail: A Reservations Manager Must Be Detail-Oriented To Ensure Accurate And Efficient Reservation Processes. This Includes Managing Room Inventory, Rates, And Guest Requests To Ensure A Seamless Booking Experience For Guests.
