- Oversee the daily operations of the reservations department, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Train and supervise reservations staff, providing guidance and support as needed to maintain high levels of productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase occupancy and revenue, including managing room rates and inventory.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the hotel's reservation systems and processes, troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
- Respond promptly and professionally to all guest inquiries and complaints related to reservations, resolving any issues to the guest's satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and sales, to ensure a seamless booking and check-in process for guests.
- Monitor and analyze reservation data, providing regular reports to management with recommendations for improvement.
- Manage and maintain relationships with travel agents, online booking platforms, and other third-party reservation partners.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in reservation technology, making recommendations for improvements or updates as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all hotel policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations related to reservations and guest privacy.
- Foster a positive and welcoming work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among reservations staff.
- Act as a brand ambassador for the Holiday Inn, embodying its values and providing exceptional service to all guests.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, and preparing reports for upper management.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for reservations staff and provide ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure a high-performing team.
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by upper management.
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills
Bachelor's Degree In Hospitality Management Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Reservation Management Role
Strong Understanding Of Hotel Reservation Systems And Online Booking Platforms
Ability To Manage And Lead A Team In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
