- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Understand and promote the various room types, rates, and amenities offered by the hotel.
- Provide accurate and detailed information to guests regarding room availability, rates, and hotel policies.
- Assist guests in making reservations, modifications, and cancellations according to hotel procedures.
- Respond to guest inquiries and concerns in a timely and courteous manner.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions and special offers to upsell and cross-sell to guests.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient handling of guest requests and special requirements.
- Process and confirm reservations accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest information is entered correctly.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the reservation system and guest records.
- Handle difficult or escalated situations with guests, using effective problem-solving skills to find a resolution.
- Attend and actively participate in training sessions and team meetings.
- Adhere to all hotel and departmental policies and procedures.
- Proactively seek opportunities to improve guest satisfaction and increase revenue.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the hotel in a positive manner to guests.
- Cross-train in other areas of the hotel to provide support and assistance as needed.
- Continuously strive to meet and exceed personal and team goals and targets.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Follow proper procedures for handling confidential guest information.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
