Welcome to the Holiday Inn family! We are currently seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Reservation Agent to join our team at our hotels across the country. As a Reservation Agent, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests by handling reservations, inquiries, and changes to existing bookings. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about the hospitality industry and have excellent communication and organizational skills.   1. Handle all incoming reservations, inquiries, and changes to existing bookings with a high level of professionalism and efficiency.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to guests' needs and finding suitable solutions to meet their requests.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of hotel availability, rates, and packages for all Holiday Inn properties.
  4. Utilize the hotel's reservation system to book and confirm reservations, process payments, and generate reports.
  5. Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience from reservation to check-out.
  6. Stay up-to-date on hotel policies and procedures to effectively communicate and enforce them with guests.
  7. Utilize upselling techniques to promote additional services and amenities to enhance guests' stay.
  8. Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  9. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, representing the Holiday Inn brand with pride.
  10. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment by effectively communicating and working with colleagues.
  11. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and enhance the guest experience.
  12. Adhere to all company and industry regulations and policies.
  13. Attend training sessions and meetings as required to stay up-to-date on company information and industry trends.
  14. Meet and exceed performance goals and targets set by the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication Skills: A Reservation Agent Must Possess Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Guests And Colleagues.

  • Customer Service Experience: Previous Experience In A Customer Service Role Is Highly Desirable, As A Reservation Agent Will Be Responsible For Providing Exceptional Service To Guests And Handling Any Issues Or Concerns That May Arise.

  • Knowledge Of Reservation Systems: Familiarity With Reservation Systems, Such As Opera Or Sabre, Is Important For A Reservation Agent To Efficiently Book And Manage Reservations.

  • Attention To Detail: A Reservation Agent Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Accurately Input And Manage Reservation Information, As Well As Ensure Accuracy In Room Assignments And Guest Preferences.

  • Multitasking Abilities: As A Reservation Agent, One Must Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks At Once, Such As Answering Phone Calls, Responding To Emails, And Managing Reservations, While Maintaining A High Level Of Efficiency And Professionalism.
