In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting guests with their reservations, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable booking process.   1. Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring their needs and preferences are met during the reservation process.
  2. Assist guests with making reservations and provide accurate information regarding availability, rates, and hotel amenities.
  3. Maintain a high level of knowledge about the hotel and its services to effectively answer guest inquiries and provide recommendations.
  4. Handle guest complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  5. Utilize multiple reservation systems to input and retrieve guest information accurately.
  6. Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest requests are fulfilled and ensure a seamless guest experience.
  7. Monitor reservation systems for accuracy and make necessary adjustments to reservations as needed.
  8. Meet or exceed sales goals by promoting hotel services and amenities to guests during the reservation process.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked.
  10. Stay up-to-date with hotel promotions, packages, and special events to effectively promote to guests.
  11. Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety and security guidelines.
  12. Continuously strive to improve customer service skills and attend training sessions as required.
  13. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, providing a warm and welcoming environment for guests.
  14. Assist with other duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: A Reservation Agent At Holiday Inn Hotels Must Be Able To Provide Exceptional Customer Service To Guests, Both Over The Phone And In Person.

  • Strong Communication Skills: This Position Requires Frequent Communication With Guests, As Well As With Other Hotel Staff Members. A Reservation Agent Should Have Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills.

  • Attention To Detail: Reservation Agents Are Responsible For Accurately Inputting And Managing Guest Reservations, So Attention To Detail Is Crucial In Order To Avoid Errors And Ensure Guest Satisfaction.

  • Knowledge Of Reservation Systems: Holiday Inn Hotels May Use Different Reservation Systems, So A Reservation Agent Should Be Familiar With Commonly Used Systems And Be Able To Quickly Learn New Ones.

  • Ability To Multitask: As A Reservation Agent, You Will Be Handling Multiple Tasks At Once, Such As Answering Phone Calls, Responding To Emails, And Managing Reservations. The Ability To Multitask And Prioritize Tasks Is Essential In This Role.
