Job Description

Welcome to Holiday Inn Hotels! We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Reservation Agent to join our team. As a Reservation Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience from start to finish. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and have excellent communication skills.   1. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest inquiries and reservation requests in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Assist guests with making reservations, changes, and cancellations with accuracy and attention to detail.
  3. Maintain extensive knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and room types to effectively recommend and upsell to guests.
  4. Utilize computer systems and software to accurately input and retrieve guest information and reservation data.
  5. Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest requests and special accommodations are met.
  6. Build and maintain positive relationships with guests by addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and effective manner.
  7. Meet or exceed sales goals by actively promoting hotel packages and promotions to potential guests.
  8. Stay updated on hotel policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency in service delivery.
  9. Maintain accurate records of reservations, payments, and guest information.
  10. Handle cash and credit card transactions with accuracy and in accordance with hotel policies.
  11. Uphold the hotel's brand standards and values by delivering excellent customer service at all times.
  12. Attend training sessions and meetings to enhance job knowledge and skills.
  13. Adhere to personal grooming and uniform standards.
  14. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve overall hotel goals and objectives.
  15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the hotel in a positive light.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication Skills: A Reservation Agent Must Possess Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Guests And Colleagues.

  • Customer Service Experience: Candidates For This Position Should Have Previous Experience In A Customer Service Role, As They Will Be Responsible For Providing Exceptional Service To Guests During The Reservation Process.

  • Computer Proficiency: As A Reservation Agent, Candidates Should Be Comfortable Using Reservation Software And Other Computer Programs To Process Bookings And Communicate With Guests.

  • Attention To Detail: This Role Requires A High Level Of Accuracy And Attention To Detail In Order To Input And Manage Reservations Accurately. A Keen Eye For Detail Is Essential In This Role.

  • Multitasking Abilities: Reservation Agents Must Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks At Once, Such As Answering Phone Calls, Responding To Emails, And Managing Reservations. The Ability To Multitask Efficiently Is Crucial For Success In This Position.
