Job Description

Welcome to Holiday Inn Hotels, where we strive to provide exceptional hospitality to all of our guests. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receiving Clerk to join our team. As a Receiving Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all incoming deliveries are received, inspected, and distributed accurately and efficiently.   1. Receive and inspect all incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  2. Organize and distribute incoming items to the appropriate departments or individuals.
  3. Maintain accurate records of all received items, including quantities and descriptions.
  4. Communicate any discrepancies or issues with deliveries to the appropriate parties.
  5. Ensure that all deliveries are handled in a timely and efficient manner.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
  7. Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure timely delivery of items to guests and departments.
  8. Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and reporting any shortages or excesses.
  9. Follow all safety and security protocols when handling incoming deliveries.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service to all guests and vendors.
  11. Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures regarding receiving, storage, and distribution of items.
  12. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures related to receiving and inventory management.
  13. Report any maintenance or repair needs for the receiving area or equipment.
  14. Train and supervise new receiving staff as needed.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
