
Receiving Clerk

As a Receiving Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all incoming deliveries are received, inspected, and distributed accurately and efficiently. - Receive and inspect all incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Organize and distribute incoming items to the appropriate departments or individuals.
- Maintain accurate records of all received items, including quantities and descriptions.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues with deliveries to the appropriate parties.
- Ensure that all deliveries are handled in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure timely delivery of items to guests and departments.
- Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and reporting any shortages or excesses.
- Follow all safety and security protocols when handling incoming deliveries.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all guests and vendors.
- Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures regarding receiving, storage, and distribution of items.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures related to receiving and inventory management.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs for the receiving area or equipment.
- Train and supervise new receiving staff as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent.
Previous Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In The Hospitality Industry.
Knowledge Of Inventory Management And Basic Computer Skills.
