- Develop and implement occupational health and safety policies and procedures for all Holiday Inn hotel properties.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to hotel management and employees on all matters related to occupational health and safety.
- Identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace and take necessary steps to mitigate or eliminate them.
- Create and deliver training programs to educate employees on safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with departments to develop emergency response plans and procedures.
- Investigate and report on any accidents, incidents, or near-misses and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Maintain accurate records of all safety-related incidents and training activities.
- Stay current with industry best practices and regulations related to occupational health and safety.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related inquiries and concerns from guests and employees.
- Work closely with management to develop and maintain a culture of safety and wellness within the hotel.
- Conduct regular meetings with department heads to review safety procedures and address any issues or concerns.
- Liaise with external agencies and authorities on safety-related matters, as needed.
- Monitor and manage safety-related budgets and expenses.
- Lead by example and promote a positive attitude towards safety within the organization.
Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Health And Safety Or A Related Field.
Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Train And Educate Employees On Safety Protocols And Procedures.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Occupational Health And Safety, Preferably In The Hotel Industry.
Knowledge Of Local And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Occupational Health And Safety.
Professional Certification In Occupational Health And Safety, Such As Certified Occupational Safety Specialist (Coss) Or Certified Safety Professional (Csp).
