We are currently seeking a skilled Mixologist to join our team and elevate our beverage offerings to new heights. As a Mixologist at Holiday Inn, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and passion for mixology while providing exceptional service to our guests. Develop and maintain an extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, and cocktails offered at Holiday Inn Hotels.
Create unique and innovative beverage menus that cater to the preferences of our guests.
Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
Ensure the quality and consistency of all beverages served.
Engage with guests to provide recommendations and suggestions for beverage pairings with their meals.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking and replenishing supplies.
Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations.
Collaborate with the culinary team to create signature cocktails and incorporate local ingredients into beverage offerings.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and make recommendations for updates to the beverage menu.
Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating and fulfilling guests' beverage needs.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
Communicate effectively with other team members and management to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
Train and mentor junior bartenders and ensure they follow all beverage recipes and procedures.
Attend regular meetings and training sessions to continually improve skills and knowledge.
Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
Maintain a positive and friendly attitude towards guests and fellow team members.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
Uphold the brand standards of Holiday Inn Hotels and promote a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for guests.
Continuously strive to exceed guest expectations and provide a memorable experience for all.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Knowledge Of Cocktails And Mixology Techniques: A Mixologist At Holiday Inn Hotels Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Classic And Contemporary Cocktails, As Well As The Ability To Create New And Innovative Drinks. They Should Also Be Well-Versed In Various Mixology Techniques Such As Muddling, Shaking, And Layering.
Excellent Customer Service Skills: As A Mixologist, It Is Important To Have Exceptional Customer Service Skills In Order To Provide A Positive And Memorable Experience For Guests. This Includes Having A Friendly And Welcoming Attitude, Being Attentive To Guests' Needs, And Having The Ability To Multitask In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: In Addition To Interacting With Guests, A Mixologist At Holiday Inn Hotels Will Also Need To Work Closely With Other Team Members, Such As Bartenders And Servers. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Effectively Collaborating And Ensuring A Smooth And Efficient Service.
Knowledge Of Health And Safety Standards: A Mixologist Should Be Knowledgeable About Health And Safety Standards Related To Serving And Handling Alcohol. This Includes Knowing How To Properly Measure And Mix Drinks, Identifying And Handling Overconsumption, And Adhering To Responsible Serving Practices.
Experience In A Similar Role: Previous Experience As A Mixologist Or In A Similar Role Is Often Required For This Position At Holiday Inn Hotels. This Could Include Working In A Bar, Restaurant, Or Hotel Setting, And Having A Strong Track Record Of Creating Unique And Delicious Cocktails. Training Or Certification In Mixology May Also Be Preferred.
