As a Meetings Host, you will be responsible for ensuring that all meetings and events run smoothly and exceed our guests' expectations. We are looking for a friendly and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and organizational skills.   1. Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner, making them feel like part of the Holiday Inn family.
  2. Coordinate all aspects of meetings and events, from initial planning to execution.
  3. Communicate with guests and event planners to understand their needs and expectations.
  4. Ensure all meeting spaces are set up according to the event's specifications and are clean and presentable.
  5. Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
  6. Manage the scheduling and coordination of staff and resources to ensure smooth execution of events.
  7. Act as a liaison between guests and hotel staff to ensure all event details are communicated and executed effectively.
  8. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all meetings and events.
  9. Continuously monitor and anticipate potential issues and take proactive steps to prevent or resolve them.
  10. Uphold the Holiday Inn brand standards and promote a positive image of the hotel to guests.
  11. Collaborate with other hotel departments such as food and beverage, housekeeping, and maintenance to ensure all guest needs are met.
  12. Assist with the set-up and breakdown of meeting rooms as needed.
  13. Stay updated on current industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the guest experience.
  14. Adhere to all safety and security procedures to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
  15. Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement to management for the overall success of meetings and events at the hotel.
