- Coordinate all aspects of meetings and events, from initial planning to execution.
- Communicate with guests and event planners to understand their needs and expectations.
- Ensure all meeting spaces are set up according to the event's specifications and are clean and presentable.
- Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
- Manage the scheduling and coordination of staff and resources to ensure smooth execution of events.
- Act as a liaison between guests and hotel staff to ensure all event details are communicated and executed effectively.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all meetings and events.
- Continuously monitor and anticipate potential issues and take proactive steps to prevent or resolve them.
- Uphold the Holiday Inn brand standards and promote a positive image of the hotel to guests.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments such as food and beverage, housekeeping, and maintenance to ensure all guest needs are met.
- Assist with the set-up and breakdown of meeting rooms as needed.
- Stay updated on current industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the guest experience.
- Adhere to all safety and security procedures to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement to management for the overall success of meetings and events at the hotel.
