1. Oversee the daily operations of the hotel's health club, including the fitness center, pool, and any other recreational facilities.
2. Develop and implement strategies to promote and increase membership and usage of the health club.
3. Create and maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests, ensuring their satisfaction and comfort.
4. Hire, train, and supervise a team of health club staff, including personal trainers, group fitness instructors, and maintenance personnel.
5. Develop and implement fitness and wellness programs and classes to meet the needs and interests of guests.
6. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the health club facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
7. Manage the health club budget, including purchasing equipment and supplies, and maintaining accurate records of expenses.
8. Collaborate with other hotel departments, such as marketing and housekeeping, to promote and coordinate special events and packages related to the health club.
9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in health and fitness, and make recommendations for improvements to the health club.
10. Handle guest complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner, ensuring a positive and satisfactory resolution.
11. Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to keep the team motivated and informed about new programs and policies.
12. Maintain positive relationships with members, guests, and vendors, and address any issues or concerns promptly.
13. Ensure all health club equipment is properly maintained and serviced, and arrange for repairs or replacements when necessary.
14. Comply with all hotel policies and procedures, as well as local health and safety regulations.
