As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.   1. Greet guests in a warm and welcoming manner upon arrival and throughout their stay at the hotel.
  2. Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  3. Handle all guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
  4. Provide information to guests about hotel amenities, local attractions, and restaurants.
  5. Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  6. Maintain a neat and organized front desk area and ensure all supplies are stocked.
  7. Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions.
  8. Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  9. Promote and sell hotel services and amenities to guests.
  10. Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and standards to provide a safe and welcoming environment for guests.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: A Guest Service Agent At Holiday Inn Hotels Must Possess Exceptional Customer Service Skills To Ensure That Guests Have A Pleasant And Comfortable Stay. This Includes The Ability To Handle Guest Inquiries And Complaints In A Professional And Efficient Manner.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Critical In This Role As Guest Service Agents Are Required To Interact With Guests, Colleagues, And Management On A Daily Basis. They Must Be Able To Communicate Clearly And Concisely, Both Verbally And In Writing.

  • Attention To Detail: Attention To Detail Is Crucial In Ensuring That Guests Have A Seamless Experience At The Hotel. Guest Service Agents Must Be Able To Pay Close Attention To Guest Requests, Room Assignments, And Billing Details To Avoid Any Errors Or Discrepancies.

  • Multitasking Abilities: Working As A Guest Service Agent Can Be Fast-Paced And Requires The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously. Candidates For This Role Should Be Able To Prioritize Tasks Effectively And Work Efficiently Under Pressure.

  • Knowledge Of Hotel Operations: While Training Will Be Provided, A Basic Understanding Of Hotel Operations And Procedures Is Beneficial For Guest Service Agents. This Includes Knowledge Of Front Desk Operations, Reservation Systems, And Hotel Policies And Procedures.
