Job Description

Welcome to Holiday Inn Hotels, where every guest is treated like family. We are currently seeking a warm, friendly, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Guest Service Agent. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will play a crucial role in creating a memorable and positive experience for them. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and a desire to go above and beyond for our guests.   1. Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor upon arrival and during their stay.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating and addressing guests' needs.
  3. Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  4. Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately.
  5. Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries from guests in a professional manner.
  6. Assist guests with reservations, room changes, and other requests.
  7. Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to provide recommendations to guests.
  8. Handle and resolve guest complaints and concerns promptly and effectively.
  9. Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area at all times.
  11. Follow safety and security procedures to protect guests and the hotel.
  12. Uphold the brand standards of Holiday Inn Hotels and represent the brand positively to guests.
  13. Attend staff meetings and trainings to stay updated on hotel policies and procedures.
  14. Upsell hotel rooms and amenities to increase revenue.
  15. Work collaboratively with the housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest rooms are clean and in good condition.
  16. Handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity.
  17. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while handling stressful situations.
  18. Continuously strive to improve guest satisfaction by seeking out feedback and implementing suggestions.
  19. Adhere to company dress code and grooming standards.
  20. Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management team.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication Skills: A Guest Service Agent Must Possess Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Guests, Colleagues, And Other Hotel Staff.

  • Customer Service Experience: Previous Experience In A Customer Service Role Is Essential For A Guest Service Agent. They Should Be Able To Handle Guest Inquiries And Complaints In A Professional And Courteous Manner.

  • Attention To Detail: Attention To Detail Is Crucial For A Guest Service Agent As They Are Responsible For Accurately Inputting Guest Information, Handling Cash And Credit Card Transactions, And Ensuring All Guest Requests Are Fulfilled.

  • Multitasking Abilities: Guest Service Agents Often Have To Handle Multiple Tasks At Once, Such As Answering Phones, Checking In Guests, And Responding To Guest Requests. Therefore, They Should Be Able To Prioritize And Manage Their Time Effectively.
