- Maintain a thorough knowledge of hotel amenities, services, and promotions to effectively assist guests.
- Act as a liaison between guests and other hotel departments to ensure all guest needs are met.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure the safety and security of guests by following hotel procedures and protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area at all times.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest rooms are up to hotel standards.
- Provide recommendations for local attractions, restaurants, and other points of interest to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain confidentiality of all guest information and hotel policies.
- Attend training sessions and meetings to continuously improve knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times to promote a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
Excellent Communication Skills: A Guest Service Agent At Holiday Inn Hotels Should Possess Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Guests And Handle Their Inquiries And Requests.
Customer Service Experience: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have Prior Experience In A Customer-Facing Role, Preferably In The Hospitality Industry, To Understand The Needs And Expectations Of Hotel Guests.
Multitasking Abilities: As A Guest Service Agent, One Should Be Able To Effectively Handle Multiple Tasks At Once, Such As Checking In Guests, Answering Phone Calls, And Responding To Emails.
Attention To Detail: Attention To Detail Is Crucial In This Role To Ensure Accuracy In Guest Reservations, Billing, And Handling Of Guest Complaints.
Knowledge Of Hotel Operations: A Good Understanding Of Hotel Operations, Including Check-In/Check-Out Procedures, Room Types And Rates, And Hotel Amenities, Is Essential For A Guest Service Agent To Provide A Seamless Guest Experience.
