  1. Collaborate with the hotel management team to develop and implement successful group and event strategies that align with the hotel's overall objectives.
  2. Act as the primary point of contact for group and event inquiries, responding promptly and professionally to all communication.
  3. Proactively reach out to potential clients and partners to promote the hotel's group and event offerings and secure new business opportunities.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met and exceeded.
  5. Negotiate contracts and rates with clients, ensuring profitability for the hotel while maintaining competitive pricing.
  6. Work closely with all hotel departments to ensure seamless execution of group and event programs, including coordinating room reservations, catering, audiovisual needs, and any other necessary arrangements.
  7. Create detailed and accurate event proposals and contracts, outlining all services, pricing, and terms and conditions.
  8. Monitor and track event bookings, ensuring all details and requirements are accurately recorded and communicated to the appropriate departments.
  9. Coordinate and conduct site visits and tours for potential clients, showcasing the hotel's facilities and services.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitors' offerings to make recommendations for improvements and updates to the hotel's group and event offerings.
  11. Provide exceptional customer service to guests throughout the planning and execution of their events, ensuring their needs and expectations are met at every touchpoint.
  12. Handle any guest concerns or issues related to group and event bookings, resolving them promptly and effectively.
  13. Maintain accurate and organized records of all group and event bookings, contracts, and correspondence.
  14. Assist with the creation and implementation of marketing and promotional materials for group and event offerings.
  15. Attend networking events and industry conferences to promote the hotel and establish new business connections.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: This Role Requires Frequent Interaction With Clients, Vendors, And Hotel Staff, So Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Success. The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Clients Is Also Important For Securing Repeat Business.

  • Organizational And Time-Management Skills: As A Groups & Events Executive, The Ability To Juggle Multiple Tasks, Prioritize Effectively, And Meet Tight Deadlines Is Critical. Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills Are Necessary To Ensure Smooth And Successful Events.

  • Sales And Negotiation Abilities: This Role Involves Actively Promoting The Hotel's Event And Group Booking Services And Negotiating Contracts With Clients. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record In Sales And The Ability To Negotiate Favorable Terms For The Hotel.

  • Event Planning Experience: A Groups & Events Executive Should Have Experience In Event Planning, Including Coordinating Logistics, Managing Budgets, And Overseeing Event Execution. This Experience Could Come From Working In A Similar Position At A Hotel Or In A Related Industry, Such As Event Planning Or Catering.
