Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to join our team as a Group Sales Manager. As the Group Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving group bookings and revenue for our hotels. We are looking for someone who is passionate about sales, has excellent communication and negotiation skills, and thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.   1. Drive group bookings and revenue for Holiday Inn Hotels through effective sales strategies and tactics.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with clients to promote repeat business and referrals.
  3. Identify and target potential group clients through market research and networking.
  4. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns targeted towards group clients.
  5. Negotiate rates, contracts, and other terms with clients to secure profitable group bookings.
  6. Monitor and analyze market trends and competition to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  7. Provide exceptional customer service to clients and ensure all their needs and requests are met.
  8. Train and motivate the sales team to achieve group sales goals and targets.
  9. Manage and maintain accurate records of group bookings, revenue, and sales activities.
  10. Attend industry events and conferences to represent Holiday Inn Hotels and promote group sales opportunities.
  11. Collaborate with other departments, such as reservations and event planning, to ensure smooth and successful group bookings.
  12. Communicate regularly with hotel management to provide updates on group sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
  13. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to continuously improve group sales strategies and techniques.
  14. Adhere to hotel policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations, in all sales activities.
  15. Uphold the brand reputation and image of Holiday Inn Hotels through professional and ethical conduct.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Group Sales, Preferably In The Hospitality Industry.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Negotiate And Build Relationships With Clients.

  • Proven Track Record Of Meeting Or Exceeding Sales Targets And Goals.

  • Knowledge Of The Local Market And Ability To Identify Potential Group Sales Opportunities.
