  1. Develop and implement sales strategies to drive group bookings and revenue growth.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and partners.
  3. Actively seek out and secure new group sales opportunities through various channels.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of group events and bookings.
  5. Meet and exceed sales targets and goals set by management.
  6. Represent the hotel at industry events and conferences to promote our group sales offerings.
  7. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the hotel's facilities, services, and rates.
  8. Prepare and present compelling proposals and contracts to potential clients.
  9. Effectively negotiate with clients to secure the best possible rates and terms for group bookings.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service to clients throughout the booking process and during their stay.
  11. Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor offerings to stay competitive in the market.
  12. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies for group sales.
  13. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  14. Train and mentor junior sales team members to ensure their success in the role.
  15. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all group sales activities and bookings.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Sales And Negotiation Skills: A Successful Group Sales Manager At Holiday Inn Hotels Must Have Excellent Sales And Negotiation Skills In Order To Secure Group Bookings And Negotiate Competitive Rates For Clients.

  • Proven Experience In Group Sales: A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Group Sales, Preferably In The Hospitality Industry, Is Typically Required For This Role. This Experience Should Include A Track Record Of Meeting Or Exceeding Sales Targets And Building Strong Relationships With Clients.

  • Knowledge Of Hotel Industry And Market Trends: The Group Sales Manager Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Hotel Industry And Current Market Trends In Order To Effectively Sell The Hotel's Services And Amenities To Potential Clients. This Includes Knowledge Of Competitor Hotels And Their Offerings.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Representative Of The Hotel, The Group Sales Manager Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Communicate With Clients And Build Relationships. This Includes The Ability To Listen To Clients' Needs And Concerns And Provide Appropriate Solutions And Recommendations.

  • Organizational And Time Management Skills: Group Sales Managers Are Often Responsible For Managing Multiple Group Bookings At Once, So Strong Organizational And Time Management Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role. The Ability To Prioritize Tasks And Meet Deadlines Is Crucial To Ensure Successful Group Events And Satisfied Clients.
