In this role, you will be responsible for driving group sales and revenue for our hotel, while providing exceptional customer service to our clients.   1. Generate and maintain a high level of group sales and revenue for the Holiday Inn Hotels brand.
  2. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets and goals.
  3. Prospect and identify new business opportunities through various channels, including cold-calling, networking, and attending industry events.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key decision-makers to maximize sales potential.
  5. Conduct thorough research and analysis of market trends and competitors to identify new business opportunities.
  6. Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns to attract and retain clients.
  7. Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met and exceeded.
  8. Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.
  9. Coordinate and execute successful group events and functions, working closely with other departments within the hotel.
  10. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  11. Train and mentor junior sales staff to develop their skills and contribute to the overall success of the team.
  12. Represent Holiday Inn Hotels at industry events and conferences to promote the brand and generate new business opportunities.
  13. Keep up-to-date with industry developments and trends to stay ahead of the competition.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring all sales activities are in line with brand standards and values.
  15. Continuously strive to meet and exceed customer satisfaction and revenue goals.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Experience In Sales Or Hospitality Industry: A Successful Group Sales Manager At Holiday Inn Hotels Should Have A Strong Background In Sales Or Hospitality, Preferably In A Hotel Or Resort Setting. This Experience Should Demonstrate A Track Record Of Achieving Sales Targets And Building Relationships With Clients.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Group Sales Manager Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Potential Clients, Negotiating Contracts, And Building Relationships With Event Planners And Corporate Clients. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role.

  • Leadership And Team Management Skills: As A Group Sales Manager, You Will Be Leading A Team Of Sales Associates And Coordinating With Other Departments Within The Hotel. The Ability To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team Is Crucial For Success In This Role.

  • Knowledge Of Event Planning And Hotel Operations: A Comprehensive Understanding Of Event Planning, As Well As Hotel Operations And Services, Is Necessary For A Group Sales Manager. This Includes Knowledge Of Event Setups, Catering Options, And Hotel Amenities In Order To Effectively Sell And Plan Events For Clients.

  • Proven Track Record Of Driving Sales And Revenue: The Primary Responsibility Of A Group Sales Manager Is To Drive Sales And Revenue For The Hotel. A Successful Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Achieving Sales Goals And Increasing Revenue In Their Previous Roles. This Could Include Experience With Developing Sales Strategies, Identifying Potential Markets, And Closing Deals With Clients.
