As a Group Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and maximizing revenue for our hotel.   1. Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue and meet sales goals for the hotel.
  2. Identify potential business opportunities and target markets for group sales.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and other potential customers.
  4. Negotiate and finalize contracts for group bookings and events.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of group bookings and events.
  6. Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to identify new business opportunities.
  7. Prepare and present sales reports to the management team.
  8. Develop and maintain a database of potential and existing clients.
  9. Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote the hotel and generate new leads.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service to clients and ensure their satisfaction with their experience at the hotel.
  11. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments to sales strategies.
  12. Train and mentor other sales team members to improve their performance.
  13. Stay updated on the hotel's offerings, facilities, and services to effectively promote them to potential clients.
  14. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  15. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns targeted towards group bookings and events.
  16. Keep track of competitors' sales strategies and adjust strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
  17. Communicate regularly with the hotel's management team to provide updates on sales performance and discuss potential opportunities.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Sales Experience: A Group Sales Manager At Holiday Inn Hotels Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Sales, Preferably In The Hospitality Industry. This Includes A Proven Track Record Of Achieving Sales Targets And Driving Revenue Growth.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As A Group Sales Manager, Effective Communication Is Crucial In Building And Maintaining Relationships With Clients, Negotiating Contracts, And Collaborating With Other Departments Within The Hotel. Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are A Must.

  • Leadership And Team Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Managing A Team Of Sales Professionals And Driving Them Towards Achieving Collective Goals. They Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills, Be Able To Motivate And Mentor Team Members, And Foster A Positive And Productive Work Environment.

  • Knowledge Of Market Trends: A Group Sales Manager Should Have A Sound Understanding Of The Hospitality Industry And Keep Up With The Latest Market Trends And Customer Preferences. This Includes Knowledge Of Competitors' Offerings, Pricing Strategies, And Emerging Market Opportunities.

  • Organizational And Time Management Skills: With Multiple Clients And Events To Manage, A Group Sales Manager Must Be Highly Organized And Have Excellent Time Management Skills. They Should Be Able To Prioritize Tasks, Meet Deadlines, And Handle Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
