- Oversee the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets at the Holiday Inn Hotel, including restaurants, bars, and room service.
- Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service and have a memorable experience during their stay.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of food and beverage offerings, as well as the overall guest experience.
- Train, mentor, and supervise food and beverage staff, ensuring they provide friendly, efficient, and professional service at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed, while adhering to budgetary constraints.
- Create and maintain schedules for food and beverage staff, ensuring adequate coverage during peak business hours.
- Collaborate with the hotel's executive chef to develop seasonal menus and special promotions that will enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring they meet health and safety standards.
- Respond promptly and effectively to guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints, and take appropriate action to resolve any issues.
- Conduct regular meetings with food and beverage staff to communicate goals, expectations, and provide feedback on performance.
- Remain up to date on industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for improvements to enhance guest satisfaction and profitability.
- Monitor and control expenses related to food and beverage operations, ensuring they stay within budget.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and front desk, to ensure seamless communication and coordination for guest satisfaction.
- Uphold and enforce all hotel policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.
- Serve as a role model for exceptional service and professionalism, leading by example and motivating staff to do the same.
Prior Supervisory Experience: A Food & Beverage Supervisor At Holiday Inn Hotels Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Supervisory Role In The Food And Beverage Industry. This Experience Should Include Managing A Team Of Employees, Handling Customer Complaints, And Maintaining High Levels Of Customer Service.
Knowledge Of Food And Beverage Operations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Food And Beverage Operations, Including Ordering And Inventory Management, Menu Planning, And Food Safety Regulations. This Knowledge Is Essential For Ensuring Smooth And Efficient Operations In The Hotel's Restaurants And Bars.
Excellent Communication Skills: As A Supervisor, The Food & Beverage Supervisor Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Both Employees And Customers. They Should Have Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills, As Well As The Ability To Listen And Address Any Concerns Or Issues Effectively.
