Welcome to the Holiday Inn Hotels team! We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Food & Beverage Attendant to join our dynamic and fast-paced environment. Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Assist guests in selecting menu items and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
Take and process food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
Ensure that all food and beverage items are prepared and presented according to company standards.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve any complaints or issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Upsell and promote special menu items, seasonal promotions, and hotel amenities.
Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to guests.
Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and in accordance with company policies.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Continuously strive to improve and enhance the guest experience.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to food handling and hygiene.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, both with guests and fellow team members.

Job Qualifications

Prior Experience In A Similar Role: Candidates Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Food And Beverage Position, Preferably In A Hotel Or Hospitality Setting. This Ensures They Have A Basic Understanding Of The Duties And Responsibilities Of The Job.
Excellent Customer Service Skills: As A Food And Beverage Attendant, The Candidate Will Be Interacting With Guests On A Daily Basis. They Should Possess Strong Communication Skills, A Friendly Demeanor, And The Ability To Provide Exceptional Customer Service.
Knowledge Of Food And Beverage Operations: Candidates Should Have A Good Understanding Of Food And Beverage Operations, Including Food Safety And Hygiene, Menu Items, And Beverage Service. This Will Allow Them To Effectively Perform Their Duties And Assist Guests With Any Questions They May Have.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Working In A Hotel, Particularly In The Food And Beverage Department, Can Be Fast-Paced And Demanding. Candidates Should Be Able To Handle The Pressure And Multitask Effectively To Ensure Guests Are Served Promptly And Efficiently.
Flexibility And Availability: Food And Beverage Attendants May Be Required To Work Early Mornings, Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays. Candidates Should Be Able To Demonstrate Flexibility In Their Availability And Be Willing To Work A Variety Of Shifts As Needed.
