- Oversee all aspects of the hotel's food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, room service, and banquets.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and improve guest satisfaction.
- Train and supervise the food and beverage team to ensure consistent and exceptional service.
- Create and maintain budgets, monitor expenses, and make adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with the executive chef to develop menus and ensure high-quality food offerings.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
- Handle guest complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular meetings with the food and beverage team to communicate goals, policies, and procedures.
- Continuously assess and improve the dining experience for guests, anticipating their needs and preferences.
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Stay updated on industry trends and make recommendations for improvements and innovations.
- Work closely with other departments, such as housekeeping and front office, to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience.
- Handle scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions for the food and beverage team.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in all food and beverage outlets.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to promote and market the hotel's food and beverage offerings.
- Attend and participate in meetings with management and other departments to discuss hotel operations and strategies.
- Stay updated on guest feedback and use it to make improvements and adjustments to operations.
- Lead by example and maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
Relevant Experience In Food And Beverage Management: A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Hotel Or Resort Setting.
Strong Leadership And Management Skills: Ability To Lead And Motivate A Team, Delegate Tasks Effectively, And Handle Any Conflicts Or Issues That May Arise.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Guests, Colleagues, And Management, As Well As Resolve Any Customer Complaints Or Concerns.
Knowledge Of Food And Beverage Industry Standards: Familiarity With Industry Trends, Regulations, And Best Practices In Food And Beverage Operations, Including Menu Planning, Inventory Control, And Cost Management.
Flexibility And Adaptability: The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced, Ever-Changing Environment, Adjust To Different Situations And Priorities, And Make Quick Decisions When Needed.
