
Events Manager
Looking for a dynamic and experienced Events Manager to join our team at Holiday Inn Hotels! As an Events Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events at our hotel. From corporate meetings and conferences to weddings and social gatherings, you will play a key role in creating memorable and successful experiences for our guests. - Plan and coordinate a diverse range of events at Holiday Inn Hotels, including corporate meetings, conferences, weddings, and social gatherings.
- Manage all aspects of event planning, from initial client consultations and contract negotiations to event set-up, execution, and breakdown.
- Work closely with clients to understand their event needs and provide exceptional customer service throughout the planning process.
- Collaborate with other departments within the hotel, such as catering, sales, and housekeeping, to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and secure necessary event services and equipment.
- Create detailed event timelines, budgets, and floor plans to ensure all aspects of the event run smoothly and within budget.
- Oversee event staff, including servers, bartenders, and event coordinators, to ensure they are properly trained and providing excellent service to guests.
- Monitor and manage event budgets, expenses, and revenue to ensure financial success for both the hotel and the client.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor events to continuously improve and enhance event offerings at Holiday Inn Hotels.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and quality control to ensure all events meet the hotel's standards of excellence.
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and event staff to ensure everyone is informed and on the same page throughout the event planning and execution process.
- Handle any issues or concerns that may arise during events, finding solutions and providing excellent customer service to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Utilize social media and other marketing strategies to promote events and attract new clients to Holiday Inn Hotels.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve event planning and management skills.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing Holiday Inn Hotels in a positive light and upholding the brand's reputation for exceptional events.
Bachelor's Degree In Hospitality Management Or Related Field.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Event Planning And Management.
Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills.
Knowledge Of Industry Best Practices And Current Event Trends.
