As an Events Manager, you will be responsible for creating unforgettable experiences for our guests by coordinating all aspects of events and conferences at our hotel. From corporate meetings to weddings and everything in between, you will use your creativity and organizational skills to bring our clients' visions to life.   1. Plan and execute events and conferences at Holiday Inn Hotels, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  2. Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs and preferences, and provide creative solutions to bring their vision to life.
  3. Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors, and ensure cost-effective solutions for clients.
  4. Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure high-quality services and products for events.
  5. Oversee all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual equipment, transportation, and guest accommodations.
  6. Develop event timelines and schedules, and ensure all tasks are completed within the designated timeframe.
  7. Coordinate event set-up and breakdown, and ensure all event spaces are properly decorated and arranged.
  8. Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth event execution.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new event technologies to enhance the overall event experience.
  10. Handle any issues or challenges that may arise during events and provide quick and effective solutions.
  11. Ensure compliance with all legal, health, and safety regulations during events.
  12. Provide post-event reports and analysis to evaluate the success of events and make recommendations for future improvements.
  13. Train and supervise event staff to ensure efficient and professional event execution.
  14. Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to promote events and attract new clients.
  15. Maintain a positive and professional image for Holiday Inn Hotels at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Relevant Education And Experience: A Minimum Of Bachelor's Degree In Hospitality Management Or Related Field, And At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Event Planning And Management In A Hotel Or Hospitality Setting.

  • Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills: Must Be Able To Handle Multiple Events Simultaneously, Prioritize Tasks Effectively, And Meet Tight Deadlines.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Able To Communicate Clearly And Effectively With Clients, Vendors, And Team Members. Must Be Able To Build And Maintain Positive Relationships.

  • Knowledge Of Event Planning And Management: Familiarity With Industry Trends, Event Logistics, Budgeting, Contract Negotiation, And Vendor Management.

  • Attention To Detail: Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Ensure That All Aspects Of An Event Are Executed Flawlessly, From Set-Up To Breakdown.
