- Plan and execute various events, including conferences, meetings, weddings, and social events, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event vision and make recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Negotiate contracts and work within budget constraints to ensure profitability for the hotel.
- Coordinate with various departments within the hotel, such as banquet, catering, and housekeeping, to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Oversee event setup, including arranging seating, audio-visual equipment, and decor, to meet client expectations.
- Manage a team of event staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective event delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to source high-quality products and services for events.
- Ensure all events comply with hotel policies and regulations, as well as health and safety protocols.
- Keep updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve event offerings and services.
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests before, during, and after events to ensure their satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Handle and resolve any guest complaints or issues related to events in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of event details, expenses, and revenue to inform future event planning and budgeting.
- Assist in marketing and promoting the hotel's event services to attract new clients and increase revenue.
- Participate in regular meetings and training sessions to stay informed on hotel updates and industry changes.
- Uphold the values and brand standards of Holiday Inn Hotels and act as a positive ambassador for the company.
Bachelor's Degree In Hospitality Management Or Related Field.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills.
Proficiency In Event Planning Software And Microsoft Office Suite.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Event Planning And Management, Preferably In A Hotel Setting.
Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Multitask In A Fast-Paced Environment.
