- Plan and execute a wide range of events, including corporate meetings, conferences, weddings, and social gatherings, at Holiday Inn Hotels.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs and provide personalized event planning services to meet their expectations.
- Create detailed event proposals, including budgets, timelines, and event concepts, to present to clients and management for approval.
- Manage event budgets and ensure all events are executed within budget and in a cost-effective manner.
- Coordinate and communicate with various departments within the hotel, such as catering, housekeeping, and audio-visual, to ensure all event requirements are met.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and suppliers to secure the best rates and services for events.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Ensure all events are set up and executed according to the agreed-upon specifications and standards.
- Oversee event set-up, including decorations, seating arrangements, and audio-visual equipment, to ensure a flawless and visually appealing event.
- Manage event staff and delegate tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient running of events.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve event planning services at Holiday Inn Hotels.
- Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations, at all times.
- Represent Holiday Inn Hotels in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.
Bachelor's Degree In Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Event Management, Preferably In A Hotel Setting.
Demonstrated Ability To Plan And Execute Successful Events, Including Conferences, Weddings, And Corporate Meetings.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With A Diverse Range Of Clients And Team Members.
Strong Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Events Simultaneously And Handle Details And Logistics Effectively.
