
Events Coordinator

- Plan and coordinate various events, including corporate meetings and social gatherings, in accordance with the standards and guidelines of Holiday Inn Hotels.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to understand their event objectives and requirements.
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all expenses are within allocated resources.
- Source and negotiate with vendors for event services, such as catering, entertainment, and decor.
- Create detailed event proposals, including timelines, layouts, and cost breakdowns.
- Oversee all event logistics, such as venue set-up, audiovisual equipment, and transportation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or changes.
- Ensure all events run smoothly and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of event details, expenses, and feedback.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new ideas and technologies into event planning.
- Work closely with the marketing team to promote events and increase attendance.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and guest services, to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing Holiday Inn Hotels in a positive light.
- Adhere to all safety and security protocols to ensure the well-being of event attendees.
- Continuously strive to improve and enhance the event planning process, seeking feedback from clients and colleagues.
Bachelor's Degree In Hospitality Management Or Related Field
2-3 Years Of Experience In Event Planning And Coordination, Preferably In A Hotel Setting
Excellent Organizational And Time-Management Skills
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Clients, Vendors, And Hotel Staff
Proficiency In Event Management Software And Microsoft Office Suite
