
Events Coordinator

- Plan and coordinate various events at Holiday Inn Hotels, including but not limited to weddings, conferences, meetings, and social gatherings.
- Work closely with clients to understand their event needs and preferences, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the planning process.
- Collaborate with hotel staff and external vendors to ensure all event logistics are in place, such as venue set-up, catering, audiovisual equipment, and accommodations.
- Create and manage event budgets, keeping track of expenses and ensuring all events are within budget.
- Develop event timelines and schedules, and communicate them to all involved parties to ensure a smooth and successful event.
- Conduct site visits and attend planning meetings with clients to ensure their expectations are met and exceeded.
- Coordinate with the hotel sales team to promote and sell event packages and services.
- Manage event registration and guest lists, and provide support to guests during the event.
- Handle any issues or challenges that may arise during an event, and work to find quick and effective solutions.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and gather feedback from clients to continuously improve the event planning process.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in event planning to bring fresh ideas and enhance the overall guest experience.
- Maintain a professional and positive demeanor at all times, reflecting the hospitality and customer-focused culture of Holiday Inn Hotels.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Event Planning Or Coordination.
Knowledge Of Event Industry Trends And Best Practices.
Proficiency In Event Planning Software And Microsoft Office Suite.
