  1. Oversee and manage all aspects of user acceptance testing for hotel technology systems at Holiday Inn Hotels.
  2. Develop and maintain a comprehensive testing strategy and plan to ensure the quality and functionality of all hotel technology systems.
  3. Lead a team of testing professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure successful testing outcomes.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business analysts, to define testing requirements and priorities.
  5. Design and execute test cases, scenarios, and scripts to thoroughly validate system functionality and identify any potential issues.
  6. Coordinate and conduct user acceptance testing with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all requirements are met and user feedback is incorporated into the final product.
  7. Monitor and track defects and issues identified during testing, working with development teams to resolve them in a timely manner.
  8. Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  9. Communicate testing progress, results, and any potential risks or issues to stakeholders, including senior management.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing to drive continuous improvement in the testing process.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In User Acceptance Testing: The Director Of User Acceptance Testing At Holiday Inn Hotels Must Have A Strong Background In Conducting User Acceptance Testing For Software And Applications. They Should Be Well-Versed In Various Testing Methodologies And Have A Track Record Of Successfully Implementing Them.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Director, This Role Will Require The Ability To Lead And Manage A Team Of Testers. The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Excellent Leadership Skills And Be Able To Motivate And Guide Their Team To Achieve Testing Goals And Objectives.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: A Key Qualification For This Role Is The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Various Stakeholders, Including Developers, Project Managers, And Business Users. The Director Of User Acceptance Testing Must Be Able To Clearly Articulate Testing Plans, Issues, And Results To Ensure Smooth Collaboration And Problem-Solving.

  • Attention To Detail: In Order To Ensure A High Level Of Quality In The Testing Process, The Director Of User Acceptance Testing Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail. They Should Be Able To Identify And Document Any Defects Or Issues And Work With The Development Team To Resolve Them.

  • Experience In The Hospitality Industry: While Not A Requirement, Having Experience In The Hospitality Industry, Particularly In A Similar Role, Would Be A Valuable Asset For The Director Of User Acceptance Testing At Holiday Inn Hotels. Understanding The Unique Needs And Challenges Of The Industry Would Enable Them To Better Align The Testing Process With The Expectations And Requirements Of The Business.
