
Director - Rooms Division

As the Director of Rooms Division, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all aspects of the hotel's guest rooms division, including front office, housekeeping, and reservations. - Oversee and manage all aspects of the hotel's guest rooms division, including front office, housekeeping, and reservations.
- Ensure the highest level of customer service is provided to guests at all times.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and increase revenue.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures for the rooms division to ensure efficient and consistent operations.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, including room occupancy, revenue, and expenses.
- Train and develop staff to provide exceptional service and maintain a positive work environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the best quality and pricing for hotel amenities and services.
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative ideas to enhance the guest experience.
- Prepare and present reports to upper management on room division performance and strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all hotel policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws.
- Monitor and control expenses within budgeted guidelines.
- Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for rooms division staff.
- Set and monitor departmental goals and objectives to achieve overall hotel objectives.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and trainings to ensure all team members are informed and motivated.
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with guests, employees, and management.
Extensive Management Experience: The Director Of Rooms Division At Holiday Inn Hotels Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Management Role Within The Hospitality Industry, Preferably In A Similar Position.
Strong Communication Skills: The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Team Members, Guests, And Other Departments Is Crucial For Success In This Role. The Director Of Rooms Division Should Be Able To Effectively Convey Information, Delegate Tasks, And Resolve Conflicts.
Knowledge Of Industry Standards: A Strong Understanding Of Industry Standards And Best Practices Is Essential For This Position. The Director Of Rooms Division Should Be Up-To-Date On Trends, Technologies, And Regulations In The Hospitality Industry.
Financial Management Skills: The Director Of Rooms Division Is Responsible For Managing The Budget And Financial Performance Of The Department. They Should Have Experience With Forecasting, Budgeting, And Analyzing Financial Reports.
Leadership And Team Building: This Role Requires A Strong Leader Who Can Motivate And Inspire Their Team To Provide Exceptional Guest Service.
