  1. Lead and manage a team of catering and event staff to ensure smooth and successful execution of all events and functions at the hotel.
  2. Plan, organize, and oversee all aspects of catering and events, including menu selection, event setup, staffing, and budgeting.
  3. Collaborate with other departments such as sales, marketing, and operations to develop and implement strategies to attract and retain clients and increase event revenue.
  4. Maintain a high level of customer service by responding promptly and effectively to client inquiries and concerns, and ensuring all guest needs and requests are met.
  5. Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure high-quality and cost-effective services for events.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competition to continuously improve and enhance the hotel's catering and event services.
  7. Create and maintain event contracts, proposals, and other necessary documentation to ensure clear communication with clients and compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
  8. Conduct regular training and development programs for catering and event staff to ensure high-quality service delivery and adherence to brand standards.
  9. Monitor and analyze event performance and financial data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase profitability.
  10. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards during events and catering operations.
  11. Act as a representative of the hotel at networking events and industry conferences to promote the hotel's catering and event services and build relationships with potential clients.
  12. Maintain a high level of professionalism and demonstrate a positive attitude at all times, promoting a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  13. Handle any escalated guest complaints or issues related to catering and events, and take prompt and appropriate action to resolve them.
  14. Manage and control inventory and equipment for catering and events, ensuring proper maintenance and storage.
  15. Uphold and promote the hotel's brand image and values, and ensure all catering and event operations align with the hotel's standards and policies.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In The Hospitality Industry: A Director Of Catering And Events At Holiday Inn Hotels Should Have Significant Experience In The Hospitality Industry, With A Strong Background In Catering And Event Management. This Includes Experience In Planning, Organizing, And Executing Large-Scale Events, As Well As Managing Catering Operations.
