- Overseeing all aspects of the catering and events department, ensuring that all events are planned and executed to the highest standard.
- Developing and implementing strategies to enhance the catering and events offerings, in line with the hotel's overall goals and objectives.
- Managing the department's budget, including forecasting and monitoring expenses.
- Recruiting, training, and supervising catering and events staff, ensuring they provide exceptional service to guests.
- Maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality products and services.
- Collaborating with other hotel departments, such as sales and marketing, to promote and market catering and events services.
- Conducting regular meetings and providing ongoing training and support to the catering and events team.
- Ensuring compliance with all food and beverage regulations and safety standards.
- Managing client relationships and proactively seeking feedback to continuously improve services.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and implementing innovative ideas to enhance guest experiences.
- Preparing and presenting reports and analysis on department performance to senior management.
- Handling any guest complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Participating in the development and implementation of hotel policies and procedures.
