  1. Oversee all aspects of the catering and events operations, including planning, execution, and follow-up.
  2. Ensure that all events are executed flawlessly and meet or exceed guest expectations.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with clients and vendors to ensure a seamless and successful event experience.
  4. Create and maintain event budgets, ensuring profitability and cost control.
  5. Develop and implement strategic plans to increase revenue and attract new business.
  6. Lead and motivate a team of catering and events staff to deliver exceptional service.
  7. Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to promote and sell event spaces and services.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and continually seek ways to improve and enhance the catering and events offerings.
  9. Handle any guest complaints or concerns related to catering and events, and take necessary steps to resolve them.
  10. Ensure all events comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  11. Prepare and present regular reports on the performance of the catering and events department to senior management.
  12. Conduct staff training and development programs to maintain high standards of service.
  13. Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet business needs.
  14. Attend networking events and build relationships with potential clients to drive business growth.
  15. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to events and catering operations.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Catering And Event Planning: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Catering And Event Planning, Preferably In A Hotel Setting.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: A Director Of Catering And Events Should Possess Excellent Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team Of Event Coordinators, Banquet Staff, And Other Personnel.

  • Exceptional Communication And Interpersonal Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Clients, Vendors, And Team Members To Ensure Successful Execution Of Events.

  • Proven Sales And Marketing Abilities: The Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Driving Sales And Increasing Revenue Through Effective Marketing Strategies.
