- Oversee the entire catering and event operations of Holiday Inn Hotels, ensuring the delivery of exceptional experiences for our guests.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to drive revenue and increase business for catering and events.
- Manage and lead a team of catering and event staff, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure high-quality service.
- Collaborate with various departments to create and execute seamless events that align with the hotel's brand and standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and vendors to ensure successful event planning and execution.
- Develop and monitor catering and event budgets, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct regular market research and stay updated on industry trends to enhance the hotel's catering and event offerings.
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including menu selection, event logistics, and guest accommodations.
- Ensure all events are executed flawlessly, from setup to breakdown, and handle any issues or challenges that may arise.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.

Proven Experience In Event Planning And Execution - A Director Of Catering And Events At Holiday Inn Hotels Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Planning And Managing Events, Preferably In A Hotel Or Catering Setting. This Experience Should Include Successful Execution Of Various Types Of Events Such As Weddings, Conferences, And Corporate Events.
Strong Leadership And Management Skills - As A Director, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Event Planners And Coordinators, As Well As Overseeing The Catering And Event Operations. Therefore, Strong Leadership And Management Skills Are Crucial For Success In This Role.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills - The Director Of Catering And Events Will Be The Main Point Of Contact For Clients And Will Need To Effectively Communicate With Them To Understand Their Event Needs And Preferences.
