Job Description

Welcome to the exciting world of hospitality at Holiday Inn Hotels! We are currently seeking a skilled and driven Catering Sales Manager to join our team and help us continue to provide exceptional experiences for our guests. In this role, you will be responsible for generating revenue through the sale of catering services, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and executing successful events. We are looking for someone with a passion for sales and hospitality, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. If you are a highly motivated individual with a strong background in catering sales and a desire to exceed expectations, we would love to have you on our team!

  1. Generate revenue by actively selling catering services to potential clients.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
  3. Plan and execute successful events, taking into consideration client preferences and budget.
  4. Collaborate with other departments, such as food and beverage, to ensure seamless event execution.
  5. Utilize strong sales skills to meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the hotel.
  6. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competition to continually improve sales strategies.
  7. Maintain accurate and organized records of all sales activities and client information.
  8. Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to client inquiries and addressing any concerns.
  9. Prepare and present proposals and contracts to clients, clearly outlining services, pricing, and terms.
  10. Coordinate with the hotel's marketing and advertising team to promote catering services and attract new business.
  11. Attend networking events and trade shows to promote the hotel and its catering services.
  12. Uphold the hotel's standards and policies, ensuring all events and services meet brand and quality standards.
  13. Train and mentor junior sales staff and provide support and guidance when needed.
  14. Collaborate with the hotel's revenue management team to develop pricing strategies and packages.
  15. Conduct regular market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
  16. Meet and communicate regularly with hotel management to provide updates on sales performance and discuss potential improvements.
  17. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in sales and business practices.
  18. Continuously strive to exceed client expectations and provide exceptional experiences.

Job Qualifications
