- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Ensure all banquet tables, chairs, linens, and other equipment are set up according to event specifications.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure their satisfaction with the service provided.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of banquet events, including setting up and breaking down tables and chairs, arranging centerpieces, and other tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for guests.
- Follow all food safety and handling procedures to ensure the safety and satisfaction of guests.
- Communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating and addressing guest needs.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including dress code and attendance requirements.
- Complete all side work and closing duties as assigned by the Banquet Manager.
- Attend all mandatory meetings and training sessions to continually improve job performance.
- Be knowledgeable about the menu and able to answer any guest questions about food and beverage options.
- Adhere to all alcohol service regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times, even in challenging situations.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly stored and maintained.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Previous Experience In A Banquet Or Catering Environment, Preferably In A Hotel Setting.
Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills To Interact With Guests And Handle Requests Efficiently.
Knowledge Of Proper Food And Beverage Handling Techniques, As Well As Basic Banquet Set-Up And Service Protocols.
Availability To Work Flexible Hours, Including Weekends And Holidays, As This Is An On-Call Position.
Ability To Stand For Long Periods Of Time And Lift Up To 25 Pounds, As The Job May Involve Setting Up And Carrying Heavy Trays Of Food And Drink.
