- Oversee and manage the security operations of the hotel, ensuring the safety and security of guests and employees at all times.
- Train and supervise security staff, including conducting performance evaluations, scheduling shifts, and providing guidance and support when needed.
- Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to prevent and respond to potential threats or incidents.
- Conduct regular security audits and inspections to identify any potential risks or vulnerabilities and take necessary actions to address them.
- Monitor and control access to the hotel premises, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
- Respond promptly and effectively to any security-related incidents or emergencies, taking appropriate action to resolve the situation.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance, to ensure a coordinated and efficient response to security issues.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all security-related incidents, investigations, and training.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, trends, and regulations related to hotel security and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Foster a culture of safety and security awareness among all hotel staff, promoting a proactive and preventative approach to security.
- Assist with the development and management of the security budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
- Serve as a point of contact for law enforcement and emergency services, providing support and cooperation as needed.
- Conduct regular trainings and drills for hotel staff on emergency response procedures and security protocols.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns related to security in a professional and timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction and retention.
- Uphold the values and standards of Holiday Inn Hotels and act as a role model for all employees by demonstrating a commitment to safety and security.
Prior Experience In Security Management: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Security Management Role, Preferably In The Hospitality Industry.
Knowledge Of Security Protocols And Procedures: Familiarity With Security Protocols And Procedures, Such As Emergency Response Plans, Access Control, And Incident Management.
Strong Leadership Skills: Ability To Lead And Manage A Team Of Security Personnel, Ensuring They Are Properly Trained And Equipped To Handle Any Security Concerns.
Excellent Communication Skills: Effective Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, To Interact With Guests, Employees, And Management In A Professional Manner.
Attention To Detail: Keen Attention To Detail And The Ability To Spot Potential Security Risks And Address Them Proactively To Ensure The Safety And Security Of Guests And Employees.
