
Assistant Housekeeping Manager

As an Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests' rooms and common areas are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. - Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including assigning tasks to housekeeping staff and ensuring all areas are cleaned and maintained according to company standards.
- Train and supervise housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to ensure a high level of performance and guest satisfaction.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met.
- Assist in the development and implementation of cleaning procedures and protocols to maintain a safe and sanitary environment for guests and staff.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure efficient and effective communication and resolution of any guest issues or concerns.
- Manage inventory and supplies, ordering and restocking as needed to ensure the housekeeping department has the necessary resources to perform their duties.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols and regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials and adherence to health and safety guidelines.
- Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to exceed their expectations and provide exceptional customer service.
- Monitor and maintain department budget, keeping costs within approved guidelines and identifying areas for cost-saving measures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in housekeeping management, implementing new strategies and techniques as appropriate to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Previous Experience In The Hospitality Industry, Preferably In A Housekeeping Or Management Role.
Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team Of Housekeeping Staff.
Excellent Organizational And Time-Management Abilities To Ensure Efficient And Timely Completion Of Cleaning Tasks.
Knowledge Of Industry Standard Cleaning Procedures And Equipment, As Well As The Ability To Train And Supervise Staff On Proper Cleaning Techniques.
