- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department.
- Train and supervise a team of housekeeping staff to ensure high-quality service and productivity.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Ensure all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained according to hotel standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and identify areas for improvement.
- Handle guest complaints and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
- Create and maintain a schedule for housekeeping staff to ensure adequate coverage.
- Assist with budgeting and cost control measures for the housekeeping department.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for staff and guests by enforcing safety procedures and regulations.
- Support and promote a positive and team-oriented work culture.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in housekeeping.
- Train and mentor new employees on housekeeping procedures and standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager or Hotel Management.
Prior Experience In Housekeeping Management: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Supervisory Or Managerial Role In The Housekeeping Department Of A Hotel Or Hospitality Industry Is Required.
Strong Leadership Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team Of Housekeeping Staff And Ensure High Levels Of Cleanliness And Service Quality.
Knowledge Of Housekeeping Procedures And Standards: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Housekeeping Procedures, Safety Regulations And Industry Standards To Maintain A Clean And Hygienic Environment For Guests.
Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Interact With Guests, Team Members, And Other Hotel Departments To Ensure Smooth Operations And Guest Satisfaction.
