
Assistant Housekeeping Manager

- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, including scheduling, training, and performance management of housekeeping staff.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and back of house areas.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure all rooms and areas are up to company and industry standards.
- Communicate effectively with other departments, including front desk and maintenance, to ensure efficient and timely service for guests.
- Create and implement cleaning and maintenance schedules to ensure all areas are consistently maintained.
- Train and supervise housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and ensure they are stocked and in good working condition.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns related to housekeeping.
- Collaborate with the General Manager and other department heads to develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and maintain high standards.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all housekeeping staff.
- Handle and resolve any guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in housekeeping and implement them in the hotel.
- Assist with budgeting and cost control measures for the housekeeping department.
- Conduct regular training and coaching sessions for housekeeping staff to ensure a high level of service and productivity.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Supervisory Role Within The Housekeeping Department Of A Hotel Or Resort
Strong Knowledge Of Cleaning And Sanitation Standards, As Well As Experience With Inventory Management And Budgeting
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Motivate A Team Of Housekeeping Staff
Familiarity With Computer Systems And Software Used For Scheduling, Tracking, And Reporting Housekeeping Tasks And Responsibilities
A Commitment To Maintaining High Levels Of Guest Satisfaction And Ensuring All Areas Of The Hotel Are Clean, Safe, And Well-Maintained At All Times.
