- Assist the Bar & Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the on-site bar and restaurant.
- Maintain the highest level of service and quality standards to ensure an unforgettable dining experience for our guests.
- Train, mentor, and motivate a team of bartenders, servers, and other staff members.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, including ordering and stock control.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and update menus that meet guest expectations and adhere to budget guidelines.
- Oversee and handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure that all health, safety, and hygiene standards are met and maintained.
- Work closely with the Bar & Restaurant Manager to create and implement strategies to increase revenue and improve guest satisfaction.
- Assist with scheduling, payroll, and other administrative tasks.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and make recommendations for improvements to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Serve as a role model for staff by demonstrating a positive attitude, professionalism, and excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and front desk, to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Act as a liaison between management and staff, communicating any issues or concerns in a timely and effective manner.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the overall success of the hotel.
Previous Experience In Bar And Restaurant Management: Candidates For This Role Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Managing A Bar And Restaurant In A Similar Setting, Such As A Hotel Or Upscale Establishment.
Strong Leadership Skills: As A Manager, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Overseeing A Team Of Staff Members And Ensuring That Operations Run Smoothly. They Should Have Strong Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage And Motivate Their Team.
Knowledge Of Food And Beverage Industry: A Thorough Understanding Of The Food And Beverage Industry Is Necessary For An Assistant Bar & Restaurant Manager. This Includes Knowledge Of Menu Planning, Food And Beverage Cost Control, And Inventory Management.
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills: This Role Involves Interacting With Both Staff Members And Hotel Guests On A Daily Basis. Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills Are Essential For Maintaining A Positive And Professional Atmosphere.
