Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on our transportation fleet to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot any mechanical issues that may arise.
Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs performed on vehicles.
Monitor vehicle performance and identify potential problems to prevent breakdowns.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all safety protocols.
Communicate with management and team members regarding any vehicle concerns or issues.
Order and maintain inventory of necessary parts and supplies for repairs.
Continuously improve and update knowledge and skills in the transportation mechanic field.

Job Qualifications

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Transportation Mechanic At Hobby Lobby Should Have A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education To Demonstrate A Basic Level Of Knowledge And Understanding.
Technical Training Or Certification: A Transportation Mechanic Should Have Completed Relevant Technical Training Or Have A Certification In A Related Field Such As Automotive Repair, Diesel Mechanics, Or Heavy Equipment Maintenance.
Prior Experience In Vehicle Maintenance: Candidates Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Vehicle Maintenance, Preferably In A Commercial Or Industrial Setting.
Knowledge Of Transportation Regulations And Safety Standards: A Transportation Mechanic Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Federal And State Transportation Regulations And Safety Standards To Ensure Compliance And Maintain A Safe Working Environment.
Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills: Candidates Should Possess Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills To Diagnose And Repair Mechanical Issues In A Timely And Efficient Manner. This Includes The Ability To Interpret Technical Manuals, Diagrams, And Schematics.
